January 2, 2024: Sebeka, MN 56477 Bertha-Hewitt Bears (Bertha, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sebeka Trojans (Sebeka, MN), 56-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Bertha-Hewitt upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Verndale (Verndale, MN) to clash with the Pirates in a A Section 5 bout on Friday, January 5. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Verndale lost 48-30 in their recent non-league bout against Menahga (Menahga, MN)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Menahga Braves (Menahga, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Sebeka will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 48-30 non-league win over Verndale (Verndale, MN).
