January 2, 2024: Edison, NJ 08817 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) and the host Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ), saw Middlesex's basketball squad hold off Edison by a tally of 41-37.
With the victory, Middlesex improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Sayreville (Parlin, NJ) to confront the Bombers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Bombers come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Sayreville lost 57-29 in their recent league challenge against South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ)
Next up, the Eagles confront the J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Red challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Edison will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 48-33 league win over Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ).
