January 25, 2024: Edison, NJ 08817 The J.P. Stevens Hawks basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Edison Eagles to 41 in the Hawks league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sayreville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. J.P. Stevens will battle a Bombers team coming off a 59-24 non-league loss to Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 1-16.
The Eagles (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Kennedy Memorial was nudged by Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ), 41-33, in a non-league contest.
