The Muncie Central Bearcats basketball team (Muncie, IN), was overwhelmed 59-21 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN)

The Tigers now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville for a Hoosier Heritage battle on Saturday, January 6. Yorktown will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 61-20 non-league win over Southport (Indianapolis, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 10-6.

The Bearcats (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Bronchos come into the North Central battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Lafayette Jefferson was overwhelmed by Lowell (Lowell, IN), 53-24, in a non-league battle.
