Indiana High School Basketball - Yorktown fells New Castle
January 19, 2024: New Castle, IN 47362 Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN), 60-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Yorktown upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Tigers host Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN) to play the Cougars in a Hoosier Heritage bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Greenfield-Central lost 48-41 in their recent league bout against Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN)
Next up, the Trojans play the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage bout, on Tuesday, January 23. New Castle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 48-41 league win over Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN).
