The Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles basketball team scored 91 points and limited the host Miller Buccaneers to 59 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 24-0 record. They play next when they travel to Flour Bluff for a 5A Region IV District 29 game on Saturday, January 4. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial will confront a Hornets team coming off a 50-37 league win over King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 13-12.
