January 2, 2025: Latrobe, PA 15650 Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA), 60-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Greater Latrobe improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Indiana (Indiana, PA) to battle the Little Indians in a WPIAL 5A 2 challenge on Monday, January 6. The Little Indians come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Indiana won 50-42 in their recent league challenge against Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA)
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the West Mifflin Titans (West Mifflin, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Kiski Area will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 48-33 non-league loss to McKeesport (McKeesport, PA).
