The Yerington Lions basketball squad (Yerington, NV), was outscored 51-42 in Thursday's league battle with the host North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA)

With the victory, North Tahoe advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Lakers travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to meet the Mustangs in a 2A Northern battle on Saturday, January 4. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 8-2. Pershing County won 52-20 in their recent non-league battle against Dayton (Dayton, NV)
