January 20, 2022: Bessemer, PA 16112

The Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Lincoln Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA), 50-49 in Thursday's league test.

The Warriors (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Knoch (Saxonburg, PA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 13-2 record.

The Wolverine now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Beaver Falls for a WPIAL 3A 1 test on Wednesday, January 26. Lincoln will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Union (Rimersburg, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
