In Friday's league outing, the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) basketball squad edged the host North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), by a count of 74-67.

The Rockets (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets go into the 3A/4A Conference 53 outing with a 16-2 record. In their last outing, Enka held off Erwin (Asheville, NC), 92-72, in a league outing.
