North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC), 57-47 in a league bout.

With the win, North Buncombe upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Black Hawks travel to McDowell (Marion, NC) to play the Titans in a 3A/4A Conference 53 bout on Friday, January 27. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 9-9. McDowell won 57-50 in their recent league bout against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Rams play the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. T.C. Roberson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 61-48 league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC).
