North Carolina High School Basketball - T.C. Roberson nips McDowell

T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), 65-59 in a league bout.

With the win, T.C. Roberson upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Rams travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to play the Black Hawks in a 3A/4A Conference 53 bout on Friday, December 16. The Black Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-3. North Buncombe won 73-54 in their recent non-league bout against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC)

Next up, the Titans play the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. McDowell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 66-50 non-league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).
