January 20, 2023: Troy Mills, IA 52344 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) and the visiting Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA), saw North Linn's basketball squad overcome Alburnett by a tally of 64-47.
With the victory, North Linn improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Central City (Central City, IA) to confront the Wildcats in a Tri-Rivers challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Central City won 82-53 in their recent league challenge against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. Alburnett will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 84-74 league win over Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
