February 7, 2023: Alburnett, IA 52202 The Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) basketball crushed the visiting East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA), 65-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 19-1 record. In their last test, Gladbrook-Reinbeck walloped Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA), 81-50, in a league test.
The Buccaneers now own a 11-11 record.
