Montana High School Basketball - Belt nips Roy/Winifred
January 20, 2023: Belt, MT 59412 Belt Huskies (Belt, MT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Roy/Winifred Outlaws (Winifred, MT), 41-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, Belt upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Fairfield/Augusta (Fairfield, MT) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Fairfield/Augusta won 60-44 in their recent league bout against Cut Bank (Cut Bank, MT)
Next up, the Outlaws play the Highwood Mountaineers (Highwood, MT) in a C District 8 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Roy/Winifred will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 54-28 non-league win over Dutton-Brady (Dutton, MT).
