South Carolina High School Basketball - May River victorious over Bluffton
January 20, 2023: Bluffton, SC 2991 The May River Sharks basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Bluffton Bobcats to 35 in the Sharks league triumph on Friday.
The Sharks now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 24. May River will meet a Bengals team coming off a 77-51 non-league win over Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 11-8.
The Bobcats (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Seahawks enter the AAAA Region 7 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Hilton Head Island was outscored by James Island (Charleston, SC), 62-45, in a league contest.
