South Carolina High School Basketball - James Island fells Bluffton
February 3, 2023: Bluffton, SC 29910 James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC), 60-49 in a league bout.
With the win, James Island upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC) to play the Seahawks in a AAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, February 10. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Hilton Head Island lost 60-45 in their recent league bout against Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Bluffton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 72-53 league win over Screven County (Sylvania, GA).
