New Jersey High School Basketball - Park Ridge holds off Emerson
January 20, 2023: Park Ridge, NJ 07656 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Park Ridge Owls (Park Ridge, NJ) and the visiting Emerson Cavaliers (Emerson, NJ), saw Park Ridge's basketball squad hold off Emerson by a tally of 38-35.
With the victory, Park Ridge improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ) to confront the Cougars in a Northwest Jersey - Patriot B challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-4.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 22. Emerson will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 55-35 league loss to Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ).
