The Fairfax Lions topped the visiting West Springfield Spartans basketball team by a final score of 63-45 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) in a District 4 game, on Tuesday, January 24. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 5-10 record after their 46-42 league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA).
