Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) and the visiting West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA), saw Fairfax's basketball squad overcome West Potomac by a tally of 47-32.

With the victory, Fairfax improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Rams in a District 4 challenge on Monday, January 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Robinson lost 64-38 in their recent league challenge against South County (Lorton, VA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. West Potomac will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
