Michigan High School Basketball - Tri County Area knocked off by Grant

January 20, 2023: Grant, MI 49327

The Grant Tigers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Tri County Area Vikings to 63 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Montcalm for a Central State - Gold contest on Tuesday, January 24. Grant will meet a Hornets team coming off a 70-34 league loss to Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 2-9.

The Vikings (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Mohawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Morley Stanwood was defeated by Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI), 47-30, in a non-league contest.
