Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph-Ogden trounces Illinois Valley Central
January 20, 2023: Chillicothe, IL 61523 The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) basketball crushed the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), 70-46 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (15-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, St. Anthony walloped Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL), 62-47, in a league test.
The Grey Ghosts now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Pontiac for a Illini Prairie test on Tuesday, January 24. Illinois Valley Central will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 63-62 league loss to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Indians record now stands at 14-6.
