The Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) basketball knocked off the host Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC), 63-44 in Friday's league test.

The Rams (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC). The Colts go into the NCISAA Tarheel test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Albemarle School went down by Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC), 78-31, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hobgood Charter for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Lawrence Academy will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 60-44 non-league loss to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-10.
