In Friday's league outing, the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ), by a count of 45-39.

The Rockets (13-0) will now prepare for their outing against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the Shore C - South outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Shore Regional was tipped by Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ), 53-49, in a non-league outing.
