The Miller Buccaneers basketball team scored 86 points and held the host Ray Texans to 49 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Friday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gregory-Portland for a 5A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Miller will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-55 league loss to Victoria West (Victoria, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-14.

The Texans (12-17) will now prepare for their contest against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region IV District 29 contest with a 15-14 record.
