Ohio High School Basketball - West Geauga topped by Perry
January 20, 2023: Chesterland, OH 44026 The Perry Pirates basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host West Geauga Wolverines to 59 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Geneva for a Chagrin Valley - Lake contest on Tuesday, January 24. Perry will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-12.
The Wolverines (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Tigers come into the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Chagrin Falls prevailed over Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH), 58-43, in a non-league contest.
