Ohio High School Basketball - Hawken fells West Geauga
December 3, 2022: Chesterland, OH 44026 Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH), 52-36 in a league bout.
With the win, Hawken upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Hawks host Orange (Pepper Pike, OH) to play the Lions in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Orange lost 73-16 in their recent league bout against Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Chagrin Falls Tigers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin bout, on Wednesday, December 7. West Geauga will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 67-57 league win over Beachwood (Beachwood, OH).
