California High School Basketball - Roosevelt crushes Torres
January 20, 2023: Fresno, CA 93702 Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Torres Toros (Madera, CA), 63-36 in a league bout.
With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Rough Riders travel to Sierra (Tollhouse, CA) to play the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Sierra won 63-40 in their recent league bout against Caruthers (Caruthers, CA)
Next up, the Toros play the McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA) in a County/Metro bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Torres will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 67-54 league win over Fresno (Fresno, CA).
