The Sachems now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beverly for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. Saugus will battle a Panthers team coming off a 73-59 non-league win over Everett (Everett, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-4.
The Big Blue (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Masconomet Regional dropped by Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA), 61-38, in a league battle.
