Texas High School Basketball - Lamar Consolidated overwhelmed by Foster

January 20, 2023: Richmond, TX 77469

The Foster Falcons basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs to 27 in the Falcons league victory on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Willowridge for a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Foster will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-40 league win over Randle (Richmond, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-6.

The Mustangs (5-22) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Buffalos come into the 5A Region III District 20 contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Marshall was routed by Fulshear (Fulshear, TX), 81-12, in a league contest.
