The Tekamah-Herman Tigers basketball team (Tekamah, NE), was toppled 53-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE)

The Jaguars now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pender for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Howells-Dodge will confront a Pendragons team coming off a 36-29 non-league win over Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE). The Pendragons record now stands at 15-2.

The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mercy (Omaha, NE). The Monarchs come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Mercy beat Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE), 50-25, in a non-league battle.
