Iowa High School Basketball - Sheldon ripped by West Lyon
January 20, 2023: Inwood, IA 51240 The West Lyon Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Sheldon Orabs to 26 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MOC-Floyd Valley for a Siouxland contest on Tuesday, January 24. West Lyon will battle a Dutchmen team coming off a 68-49 league loss to Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Dutchmen record now stands at 6-8.
The Orabs (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Warriors enter the Siouxland contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Sioux Center triumphed over Okoboji (Milford, IA), 69-39, in a league contest.
