Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), 42-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hough upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mavericks in a bout on Saturday, January 21. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Mallard Creek won 32-15 in their recent league bout against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
