Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), saw Lincoln's basketball squad knock off Independence by a tally of 54-35.

With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Pioneer (San Jose, CA) to play the Mustangs in a challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Pioneer lost 66-38 in their recent league challenge against Leigh (San Jose, CA)
