The Lincoln Lions basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Branham Bruins to 42 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leigh for a contest on Friday, February 3. Lincoln will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 53-37 league win over Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-5.

The Bruins (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (San Jose, CA). The 76ers enter the contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Independence was defeated by Pioneer (San Jose, CA), 37-29, in a league contest.
