The Farmington Tigers basketball team (Farmington, MN), was toppled 70-62 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN)

The Eagles now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastview for a AAAA Section 3 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Apple Valley will confront a Lightning team coming off a 78-44 non-league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 2-10.
