Iowa High School Basketball - Lamoni can't hold off Seymour
January 20, 2024: Seymour, IA 52590 The Seymour Warriors basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Lamoni Demons to 38 in the Warriors league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny Christian Academy for a Bluegrass contest on Monday, January 22. Seymour will battle a team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The record now stands at 11-1.
The Demons (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Seymour (Seymour, IA). The Warriors enter the Bluegrass contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Seymour was nudged by Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA), 59-43, in a league contest.
