January 20, 2025: Guttenburg, IA 52052 The Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) basketball edged the host Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), 42-41 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Central City for a Tri-Rivers bout on Tuesday, January 21. Edgewood-Colesburg will play a Wildcats team coming off a 52-45 league loss to Springville (Springville, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Clayton-Ridge falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to play the Warriors in a Upper Iowa bout on Friday, January 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-4.
