The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles to 53 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Friday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyrone for a Mountain contest on Monday, January 24. Philipsburg-Osceola will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 52-45 league loss to Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 11-4.

The Bald Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Bison enter the Mountain contest with a 9-3 record.
