Massachusetts High School Basketball - Braintree nips Brookline
January 21, 2022: Brookline, MA 02445 Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Brookline Warriors (Brookline, MA), 61-58 in a league bout.
With the victory, Braintree upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wamps host Newton North (Newtonville, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Newton North won 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against Needham (Needham, MA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans (Bridgewater, MA) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 23. Brookline will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 74-62 non-league loss to Hingham (Hingham, MA).
