January 25, 2022: Braintree, MA 02184 The Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) basketball crushed the host Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), 80-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Walpole (Walpole, MA). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Walpole was trounced by Brookline (Brookline, MA), 84-52, in a non-league test.
The Wamps now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Durfee for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 26. Braintree will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 95-52 non-league win over Bishop Connolly (Fall River, MA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 8-2.
