The Newton North Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Milton Wildcats to 40 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everett for a non-league contest on Sunday, February 20.

The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA). The Wildcats enter the Bay State - Herget contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Weymouth ran past Wellesley (Wellesley, MA), 51-48, in a league contest.
