January 21, 2023: Morrison, IL 61270 In Saturday's non-league bout, the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) basketball squad prevailed the visiting Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL), by a count of 67-49.
With the win, Morrison upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Mercer County (Aledo, IL) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-6.
Next up, the Pioneers play the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) in a Western Big 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Alleman will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 58-38 non-league loss to Staley (Kansas City, MO).
