In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Morrison Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 61-57 triumph over the Mercer County Golden Eagles.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 29. Morrison will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 12-1 record after their 69-36 non-league win over Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL).
