January 21, 2023: Springfield, IL 62702 In Saturday's league outing, the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL) basketball squad beat the host Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), by a margin of 46-35.
The Panthers (4-16) will now prepare for their outing against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Crimsons go into the Central State Eight outing with a 7-19 record. In their last outing, Jacksonville was topped by Normal University (Normal, IL), 39-31, in a league outing.
The Lions now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield Southeast for a Central State Eight match on Wednesday, January 25.
