Minnesota High School Basketball - Albert Lea fells Mankato West
January 21, 2025: Albert Lea, MN 56007 The Albert Lea Tigers basketball team scored 96 points and limited the visiting Mankato West Scarlets to 81 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Red Wing for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Albert Lea will confront a Wingers team coming off a 85-59 non-league loss to John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Wingers record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Mankato West falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Scarlets travel to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 10-7. Owatonna lost 66-65 in their recent league game against Mayo (Rochester, MN)
