Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato East routs Mankato West
January 11, 2025: Mankato, MN 56001 In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Mankato East Cougars basketball team scored a big 80-43 win over the Mankato West Scarlets.
The Cougars (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Eagles come into the AAA Section 2 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, New Ulm was trounced by Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN), 92-86, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Scarlets battle the Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN) in a AAA Section 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Mankato West will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 74-55 non-league win over Delano (Delano, MN).
