Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato East overwhelms Albert Lea
February 4, 2025: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato East Cougars basketball team scored 97 points and limited the visiting Albert Lea Tigers to 40 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Owatonna for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Mankato East will confront a Huskies team coming off a 65-32 non-league win over Winona (Winona, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 12-11.
With the loss, Albert Lea falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host Century (Rochester, MN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 6-14. Century lost 66-55 in their recent league game against John Marshall (Rochester, MN)
