January 21, 2025: Churdan, IA 50050 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA) and the host Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), observed Ar-We-Va's basketball team knock off Paton-Churdan by a score of 56-40.
The Rockets (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Exira-EHK was knocked off by Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA), 68-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rockets encounter the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Paton-Churdan will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 66-39 non-league win over West Harrison (Mondamin, IA).
