December 10, 2024: Westside, IA 51467 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA) and the visiting Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), observed Ar-We-Va's basketball team overwhelm Paton-Churdan by a score of 71-39.
The Rockets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Exira-EHK was routed by Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA), 61-52, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Paton-Churdan falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Rockets host Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Coon Rapids-Bayard won 59-22 in their recent non-league bout against West Harrison (Mondamin, IA)
